May Your Soul Rest in Magdala. (マグダラで眠れ Magdala de Nemure) is a Japanese light novel series written by Isuna Hasekura, with illustrations by Tetsuhiro Nabeshima. The series began publication on July 10, 2012 by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko publishing imprint.
Synopsis[]
An era when people are seeking new technology and trying to expand their territory to the land where pagans live.
The young alchemist Kusula will be sent to the workshop of the war-front town of Grubetti with the old-fashioned alchemist Welland as a punishment for acting against the church in the course of his research. In the town of Grubetti, Kusla and his colleagues learn that their predecessor alchemist has died a mysterious death. The workshop I went to with that foot. There, the white nun Phenesis was waiting for them. She says she watches the Kusulas ──?
A fantasy that aims for the world beyond that, spun by the never-sleeping alchemist Kusula and the white nun Phenesis, has finally begun!
