Brunhild the Dragonslayer (竜殺しのブリュンヒルド Ryuugoroshi no Brunhild) is a Japanese light novel series written by Agarizaki Eiko, with illustrations by Aoaso. The series began publication on June 10, 2022 by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko publishing imprint.

The series won the Silver Prize in the 28th Dengeki Novel Prize. The light novel has been announced for an English release by Yen Press.

Synopsis[]

The Noverland Imperial Army led by Sigibert, the hero of the dragon slayer. They challenged to capture the legendary island "Eden" and were annihilated many times by the dragon's return to protect the island. Left behind on the coast of Eden, by chance or inevitability-Brynhildr, the daughter of Sigibert who survived. The dragon saved her when she was young and raised her like his own daughter. Each one loved and was loved.
 However, 13 years later, Sigibert's cannon fire finally took the dragon's life, and the hero's daughter Brunhild was also ``taken back to the empire.
