Goodbye Piano Sonata (さよならピアノソナタ Sayonara Piano Sonata) is a Japanese light novel series written by Hikaru Sugii, with illustrations by Ryo Ueda. The series began publication on November 10, 2007 by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko publishing imprint.
Synopsis[]
"In June, I'll disappear," said midwinter, a transfer student and piano genius.
She keeps people away, doesn't play the piano, and stays in an empty classroom and plays the electric guitar very fast. There is one boy who is indignant in such a midwinter. Nao, who used the classroom without permission to listen to CDs at a loud volume, aims to recapture the occupied classroom by "bumping" the midwinter on the bass.
While Kyoko Kagurazaka, a senior self-proclaimed revolutionary who aims to establish a club activity called the Folk Music Research Department, and Chiaki, a childhood friend of Nao, are involved, the relationship between Nao and midwinter approaches, but there is a hidden secret in midwinter. ―.
